Well hello everyone! I don't know where the time has gone to but I just know that I have had a very busy time of it since Mid November. I just don't seem to get the time I used to get to do my blogging and I have a horrible suspicion that it is because of Facebook. It is so quick and easy to keep up with everyone and just a quick word here or there, but it is not really as satisfying as Blogging.....Ho hum what to do Blog or Facebook????
I have just acquired a new printer, and am very excited as I have just printed my first proper photo. I am quite sure that it is old hat for many of you, but for the techincally challenged it is an amazing feat. I love scrapbooking but find it such a nusicance to go to the photo shops and have photos printed, this is just so much better as I can just do one at a time. I am having fun creating an album of Lily's life of either when we were there or she was here. It is coming along very nicely too.
About three weeks after the kids had gone back to England our very dear friends Dave and Flo arrived for a three week holiday. We had such fun with them and found some new wine farms and restaurants to visit, and many of our friends had us all around for dinner or a braai, so it was really great for them as they were made to feel special. On the evenings we had dinner at home, we landed up playing games and quite honestly the English have it right, it makes for such a fun evening. I say "the English", as it is quite a tradition for them to play games after dinner. The guys start out being reluctant, but once we get going, I think they enjoy it the most and to say that I get hysterical is a bit of an understatement. Nothing beats a really good laugh!!
Anyway, it seems like we are all back to normal - I can't say normal does much for me though. No visitors to distract us from our work, but at least we have a couple of weddings coming up to make life exciting. Nothing quite as romantic and heartwarming as going to a wedding.
The most exciting news is that Wendy, Kristian and Lily are all coming home for about 7 weeks for The World Cup. So the count down has begun again. To say that I am happy is also an understatement. They cannot wait to be back here again not only to be with us but Steven and Veronica have just had another baby and so they cannot wait to see little Emily.

Happy to read that so many good things have been keeping you busy and happy!
Have you tried digital scrapbooking? or hybrid? It's really great - but can be addictive!
Enjoy the countdown to the next reunion as well as all the high-tech ways to stay connected in the meantime.
;o)
